pogo

A friend of mine owns this collectable of Pogo.  His full name is Ponce de Leon Montgomery County Alabama Georgia Beauregard Possum.  The character was featured in Walt Kelly's comic strip from 1948-1975.  This figurine dates from 1959 and was made by Wade in Ireland.  The artist had complete control over the final product.  It is considered quite rare.
