12 days of christmas games - day 3

Yahtzee, a poker dice game by E.S. Lowe company introduced in 1956. Apparently, it was invented by a Canadian couple in 1954, they used to play it on their yacht. They introduced it to Edwin S. Lowe who made up gift sets for them in exchange for the rights. His caricature appears on the game. During his tenure, he sold 40 million games. In 1973, his company was bought by Milton Bradley. Currently Hasbro sells 50 million games a year.
