another ferry shot - I really liked the image of the plastic barrier in my side mirror.

This was taken using the pinhole effect on my camera.  It certainly adds an air of mystery that is not usually present when you're waiting in the ferry lineup.

They are racing off to rescue the bucket that had been launched off the bow of the ferry.  In all my years travelling on the ferry, I have never seen this before.

BC Ferries staged a training run of their rescue boat.  The descending boat actually has the 2 rescue guys in it.
