Only a few days left in the Tour de France. This painting from the Kampa Museum, Prague reminds of the epic race although in this image, it looks like Lady Diana on the bike. I wonder if the Tour de France would ever let women in the race?

goose house

This house is one of the views along the Galloping Goose Bikeway in Metchosin.  When I took this photo, it reminded of Andrew Wyeth's painting Christina's World .  I haven't cropped the skyline as tight as the painting, I think you need the figure in the foreground to create that tension, but I am struck by the similarity.
